Сирпа Лейн

Сирпа Лейн
Sirpa Lane (born Sirpa Salo on January 30, 1952, in Finland) was a Finnish actress known for her roles in European erotic films during the 1970s. Often regarded as a sex symbol, she became famous for starring in a number of controversial films, many of which were directed by the Spanish filmmaker Jesús Franco and the French director Walerian Borowczyk. Lane's breakout role came in Borowczyk's erotic fantasy film "La Bête" (1975), which became infamous for its explicit content. This led to her involvement in a series of similar films that capitalized on her sensual image, such as "Les Nuits brûlantes de Linda" (1975) and "Vas-y maman" (1978). Although she was primarily known for her work in erotic cinema, she occasionally appeared in more conventional films. Despite her international fame in the 1970s, Lane's career began to decline in the 1980s, and she gradually withdrew from the public eye. She passed away at the age of 56 in 1999 due to complications related to HIV/AIDS. Sirpa Lane's legacy remains tied to the erotic European cinema of the 1970s, and she is remembered as a symbol of the era's provocative and boundary-pushing films.
