Miss Kittin, born Caroline Hervé in 1973 in Grenoble, France, is a renowned DJ, producer, and vocalist who pioneered the electroclash genre. She rose to prominence in the late 1990s and early 2000s, collaborating with The Hacker on iconic tracks like "1982" and "Frank Sinatra." These songs became anthems for the underground electronic scene. Over the years, Miss Kittin has worked with artists such as Felix Da Housecat and Golden Boy, producing several successful singles like "Silver Screen (Shower Scene)" and "Rippin Kittin." Her music blends techno, punk, and electro, and she is known for her playful, often satirical lyrics that challenge societal norms. Miss Kittin has released several solo albums, including I Com (2004) and Batbox (2008), and continues to influence the electronic music scene globally. In recent years, she has shifted back to using her original moniker, Kittin, and released her most personal and spiritual album, Cosmos, in 2018.
