Carrie Coon is an American actress, born on January 24, 1981, in Copley, Ohio. She is best known for her roles in both television and film, showcasing remarkable versatility. Coon gained critical acclaim for her performance as Nora Durst in HBO's The Leftovers (2014–2017) and went on to star as Gloria Burgle in the third season of FX's Fargo (2017), earning praise for both roles. In addition to her TV work, Carrie Coon has also appeared in major films such as Gone Girl (2014), where she played Margo "Go" Dunne, the sister of Ben Affleck's character, and The Post (2017). More recently, she starred in Ghostbusters: Afterlife (2021), playing the lead role of Callie Spengler. Before transitioning to the screen, Coon had an extensive career in theater.
