Beatriz Rico is a Spanish actress, television presenter, and singer, born on February 25, 1970, in Avilés, Asturias. She moved to Madrid at the age of 19 to study drama and ballet. Rico has had a diverse career in film, television, and theater. Notable works include the TV series Un paso adelante and films such as Tiovivo c. 1950 and Cenizas del cielo. In addition to acting, she has performed in theater productions like Don Juan Tenorio and various monologues such as Mejor viuda que mal casada. Beatriz is also active in music, leading her rock band "Rico & Roll" and releasing the album Sueños que no caducan. Beyond her artistic career, she is an advocate for animal rights and supports various humanitarian causes, including Médecins Sans Frontières and Greenpeace
